The Volunteers training module is intended to equip school volunteers with the knowledge and skills necessary to support the school community effectively.
The Volunteer Induction at Sirius College equips volunteers with essential knowledge to contribute effectively to the school community. This training covers key roles, responsibilities, and adherence to critical policies such as the Child Safety Policy, Code of Conduct, and Food Safety and Handling guidelines (if relevant). Volunteers will also learn about their rights, health and safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the importance of professional conduct, including dress code and ICT usage. By completing this induction, volunteers are prepared to support a safe, inclusive, and thriving environment for students and staff.
